3rd ICT4D North Annual Workshop

The third ICT4D North (of England) Workshop will be held on Thursday 6th of June 2019 in University of Liverpool University Management School.

Following the success of the last two workshops in Manchester (2017) and Sheffield (2018), we are pleased to announce the 3rd ICT4D North Workshop.

This event is hosted by the Agility Centre of the University of Liverpool, and co-sponsored by the Sheffield Institute for International Development (SIID-DDI) (Data and Innovation Research Theme) and Centre for Development Informatics of University of Manchester.

“ICT4D North (oE)” is the working title for a new network connecting researchers working on ICT for Development in the North of England. The new network aims to foster intellectual exchange, research synergies and collaborations within our geographical region and make our multi-polar cluster of expertise visible to our partners.

The workshop will seek to explore and connect current research by members of the ICT4D North network, and provide a collaborative platform for undertaking further interdisciplinary research within the region, attracting new interested members as well as exploring potential funding opportunities.
